I see why everyone comes here for tacos!! Stopped by this afternoon to check it out for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings of this supermarket and ended up purchasing things I didn't know I needed. Tacos were great, very traditional tasting. The convenience of being able to get an authentic feeling lunch while shopping was nice. I also appreciated the toppings area being accessible for me to add to my tacos. The only con I'd say is that the place could be a bit cleaner. But if recommend for a quick casual bite if you're in the area.

Really great unexpected low key tacos that are delicious! Love the fact they have the toppings area accessible and you can just go and add any toppings you want to your tacos! It is also really cool that on the back side of the restaurant they also have a supermarket that is connected and you can just visit and purchase whatever you need, very convenient for sure.

This place is wonderful. I go as often as possible. The food is great. It's served quickly and there is a topping station that has so many options. The market area has an eclectic variety. There are also many traditional items. I yell "stop the car" every time going past La Plaza. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Staff is very friendly and you'll not be disappointed.

Heard about this place for years and finally got to try it today! BEST TACOS IN CLEVELAND! It really is true. These are the best. I had the chorizo tacos and a chicken tamale, and they were fantastic. The salsa bar they have to adorn your tacos with is immaculate, so clean and fresh. Workers are very nice. We sat on the patio and truly enjoyed our visit. Will be back so many more times. A++++++++

Yummmmm. So fun little fact, this hidden gem is attached to a supermarket! The place was virtually empty when we came in for dinner and that's how we knew it was gonna be good! Food came out quick and hot. The burrito was so big, I only ate half and am pleased to save the rest for later.

This is not a fancy place (it's connected to a grocery store and I wouldn't say super clean), but it's got amazing food. It's fast casual style, so there's no table service. The tacos are quite customizable with the free salsa/topping bar: it's got sour cream, different salsas, guacamole, lime, etc. When I went, they were selling chips for $3.50 for a large container - not bad for fresh made. And they taste great: they're a good thickness and not salty. - Al pastor: the tender pork was seasoned perfectly. It's probably the best taco here that I tried. - Carne asada: the weakest one - it seems like they overcrowded the beef while cooking, because it was tough and watery. The seasoning was mediocre and nothing special. - Barbacoa: melt in your mouth tender and delicious, but quite fatty and heavy. Great in small doses, but eating too much would make you feel gross. - Chicken tamale: it was pretty good - the texture of the masa was soft and consistent, and meat was seasoned well. - Horchata: not too sweet and had the perfect balance of flavors. Good enough for me to go back here the next day ti get another horchata for a snack! If you want delicious, authentic Mexican food, look no further!

Always a favorite spot when in the area! Tacos are great as well as the chips and salsa. There are a lot of toppings / sides that are available at the cart. My husband and I always check out the grocery store inside as well, as they have some things similar to Brazilian cuisine that is hard to find in Cleveland.

My realtor brought us here to recoup during a full day of house hunting, and it was well worth the visit! We had chips, guacamole, and an order of tacos each. I don't eat a lot of meat, so I had chicken. The tacos were really good, and they really stuff them full of meat. The chicken was well cooked, julcy, and shredded. Yum! They are street tacos, but you can doctor them up any which way at the salsa/toppings bar. I had pico and cheese, and some of the chipotle crema, onions, and a little grilled shallot from the warming pan. I think we spent about $15/person and definitely walked out full. My sister did say that the bathroom in the market was not in great shape, so I did not go to investigate.

Quick service in the restaurant side of this market. Mexican music playing and a feel like like I had traveled to Mexico. Friendly waitstaff ordering over the counter. We placed a quick order paid by credit card. Cash tip in the jar and went to gather our toppings. Carrying a cafeteria style tray we loaded up on sauces then turned around and the food was done. Off to a few wooded tables to sit to eat. Being a little to much for for 2, we packed the leftovers in the styrofoam containers and went on to the store. The store carried fresh produce, breads, meats and cheeses. We bought a variety. $35.00 for lunch and around $80 in groceries. But as a former Californian I was open to the sights, flavors and items. It took me back to Cali and I enjoyed the experience. I'll return.
